Released in early 2020, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Pine Green 2.0’ comes in a simple colorway of Pine Green and Gym Red on a black template. When Peter Moore designed the first Air Jordan in 1985, he wanted to provide support for the dynamic superstar with the freakishly athletic game?without sacrificing comfort. He designed a high-top shoe with durable leather featuring upper eyelet straps, heel and midfoot overlays, and a perforated toebox. The history of flight had begun.
The B23 low-top sneaker is set apart by its white Dior Oblique motif and transparent paneling. Essential details, such as eyelets and a lace-up front, a white rubber sole, a rounded and reinforced toe as well as a back tab recall the codes of the classic low-top style. The sneaker is further enhanced with contrasting details on the sides, including a ‘DIOR’ signature, and pairs easily with any casual outfit.
First seen on Balenciaga’s AW21 runway, the Track sneakers are defined by a panelled design with mesh detailing. This beige iteration features a faded effect for an effortless finish.
Made in collaboration with Virgil Abloh’s luxury streetwear brand, the Off-White x women’s Air Jordan 4 SP ‘Sail’ delivers a subdued take on the classic silhouette. The deconstructed leather build is rendered in a monochromatic Off-White finish, complete with semi-translucent TPU detailing on the molded eyelets, structural ‘wings’ and Nike Air-branded heel panel. Abloh’s signature flourishes include a tonal zip tie and ‘AIR’ printed above the visible Air sole unit.
The women?s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ?Silver Toe? adopts color blocking that recalls the Air Jordan 1 ?Gold Toe? from 2018. This pair discards the patent leather build of the older shoe in favor of a standard leather upper, featuring a clean white base with contrasting black forefoot overlays. A shiny metallic silver finish distinguishes the toe box, heel panel and collar flap, the latter stamped with a Jordan Wings logo on the lateral side. Additional branding elements include a black leather Swoosh and a woven Nike tag atop the nylon tongue.
Released in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 Low stands out for its bold color-blocking, design. This pair comes in a dark blue, light blue, and white colorway and, here, the “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue has commonly been replaced with Jumpman logos, while the line’s wings insignia has moved to the lower heel from the ankle tab.
